I’ve saved the Word templates as .doc and .docx, but you will need Microsoft Word to open them. There’s also a .indd file for InDesign, if you have it, and a “getting started” PDF to walk you through it, though it may be faster to use the video above.
Each of these templates has several potential design choices and fonts: pick the one you want and remove the rest. I encourage you to match the fonts to your book cover design or genre, without going crazy. In general, the younger the audience (children’s/young adult) the “bigger” or more flashy the design will be. For most adult books, a clean, understated design is best.
